If I want to become a teacher, first elementry then college should I get ***. then bach. then masters? My orginal major was English, because I am interested in writting but I love teaching too. Should I get an AoA from a community college then a bach. then a masters so that I can teach as well as write if I so desire? Like a AoA, then a bach in English or history then my masters in education? |
| Sound like you are off to a good start. Starting with your associates degree if you have less than 40 credits is a good option and will be less expensive. Make sure the route you take will transfer into a Bachelors of Ed program without the lose of credits. Many BAED programs lead to certification then you can keep rolling into your masters. If you know for sure you want to teach English you will need at least 24 credits in English/ English related courses for most school systems to teach that area specifically. |
Did Obama kiss the ***(*)hole of the Chinese President as much as he bowed down to his Muslim masters before? Just wondering as he seems to delight in dragging down American prestige anywhere he can...He promised change all right and he is delivering.. |
Obama behaves like a puppet to the master Communist China.
Obama has no real guts to stand up to China to straight up Communist's human rights abuse and currency manipulation.
Because most of Walmart is made in China
Michelle Obama today called for Walmart to make American buy more Walmart. |
Why is UFC so popular? I mean can't guys like Jet Li and old masters from Japan easily kick their ***? I never watched a UFC match simply because to me it looks unrealistic cuz in "real life" things would go down way differently, there amy not be clinches or ground fighting... sometimes one solid punch in the right pressure point is just all one needs. I don't know... Just a thought. |
Have you ever been in a fight in your life? What do you mean that the UFC looks unrelistic? yes, you're right, sometimes all you need is one punch or the right pressure point, but that's usually some one that knows what they're doing against someone who doesn't know what they're doing. in the UFC, you have 2 skilled fighters going at it. that's why you see clinches and ground fighting, but you also see "one hit wonders" once in a while, too. The reason why it's so popular is because it pits 2 guys that know what they're doing together. It makes it more of a sport, rather than seeing some big brut stomp down on some little skinny guy that can't defend himself. as for some one like Let Li or an old master, Li is an actor and does a different form of martial arts. his stuff is coreographed. i'm not saying that he couldn't carry his own weight in a fight or a tournament, but there are just different aspects in how these men practice martial arts. and the old masters, like in feudal japan, korea, or china, that was for "real" fighting and would not have looked as pretty as the coreographed stuff that Let Li does. there's more of a chance that it would look like what the UFC does.
There are many different forms of martial arts, and many different tastes out there. i would suggest that you watch a few UFC/MMA events. I also would suggest you watch them with some one that's a fan of it as well and that could explain to you what's going on. There's a lot going on with the UFC this month and the begining of next month. check out www.ufc.com. trust me, the UFC does put out real fights, just with guys that know how to fight.
I understand what you're saying about the "old" masters would rather go the way of peace than fight. That's something i really like about the UFC. The majority of the fighters are really nice guys that are easy going and only fight in the octagon. these men use there skills to compete in the right place instead of in the street, bars, etc. Most of the fighters have college degrees in various different fields. If you ever get a chance to see Randy Couture, Rich Franklin, Georges St. Pierre to name a few, these guys are 1st class gentlmen who do nothing but show respect for others. So i know what you mean about men that would rather not fight, but choose peace. i don't want that to sound contradictory, but these guys love to use their skills to compete. I do martial arts and i love to spar and to use the skills i've developed. the UFC is a competition to put those skills these men have developed to use in a sport that has rules. That's just one more thing that really does make the UFC so popular. Give it a chance to grow on you and you might become a fan. |
Street fighter poll: Who do you think kicks more *** Ken Master Or Ryu Master? To all you Street fighters fans, who do you think is more bad ***?
Ps: The red one or the white one. Just in case people don't know who Ryu and Ken are. |
| Ryu Master. |
What do you think would be an awesome villian? I am having a hard time thinking of a kick *** master vampire.
Because I have couple ideas but I just wanted to ask.
So what does she/he look like, talk like? What makes He/she so damn disturbing? |
A vampire, in my mind, would probably be that controlled, smooth talking, calm, collected guy that acts arrogant but has the power to back up his arrogance. Even if they die they wouldn't be surprised the least they would still keep that calm collected composure. With whatever happens either good or bad like the hero ruining their plans they just go
"Oh well...... we have the back up plan" or something like that. Well of course he would be able to whoop your *** in a second and not act like he accomplished anything at all. Well it's hard for me to imagine a vampire for you cuz i have no idea what you are using it for lol. But I imagine they would have a vampire form that would make him **** your pants scary but he would still have that composure of his but with a deeper more threatening voice. He would probably play too much with his prey sometimes which would lead to his downfall. Though that's what i see in a kick *** vampire anyway.
Sorry if this rant is too long for you to actually read through lol. |
A krav maga master kicked my ***, sprained my shoulder, what to do? think I should take legal action?
he seemed very very sincere about his apology afterwards, but it's a pretty bad sprain, I might even need surgery.
advice? |
Come on now, don't go crying over a sprain, be a man, especially since I'm pretty sure you said, alright, teach me the move.
You took a risk, and got burned, it's all in the game. |
I was thinking about going to Full Sail BUT how respected is a Bachelors & Masters Degrees in business there? I'm just wondering if I got a AA in the recording arts then a Bachelors degree in music business & then continue my education w/ a MBA in the entertainment business from a school like Full Sail in Orlando Fl. how would the industry or even just the general business world look at a graduate with these type of degrees coming from out a school like "Full Sail" would it be as legitamate as going to a university or another college?? I know the school is nationally accredited (not regionally) but what type of respect would i get being a Full Sail graduate w/ these type of degrees under my belt?? & how would employers view my education history?? I know I'mma have to work my *** off to make a success of myself, BUT will an Associates, bachelors & finally a Masters degree coming from out of Full Sail help me get my foot in the door? or even help me earn respect in such a competative industry?? *MOST IMPORTANTLY will employers in the industry or business world respect my degree? please help!! |
| It looks like you want to take its MBA program. What you should do is find out if the college is AACSB Accredited. This shows that it is a good college to recieve a MBA from. Also it seems like you have a good plan, to be well rounded in music and business. That will look good, showing that you have experiance in both and an MBA is great. Im thinking about getting one and im Bio, but it is nice to have and what your going into its even better. But for the MBA see if the school (or anyone you'd think about going to) is AACSB accedited. |
