I have seen that if anyone wants to join the US army under the MAVNI program to obtain a citizenship, or even? I have a ques for all the american citizens...i have seen that if anyone wants to join the US army under the MAVNI program to obtain a citizenship, or even enquire..about it on phone , fax, or mail... the recruiters or any american is least bothered to help that person...and get extremely angry and offended if the person xplains that he/she wanna join army for Citizenship...
Americans hate to go to IRAQ, AFGHANISTAN or any other muslim country ...so the ques is who's gonna fight for the US army, if no one is interested to die?? Sitting on the beaches of FL or WA , tanning white bodies and having burger with beer wouldn't help the govt, escape another WTC or terrorist attack on the country from the talibanis....would it ?...hahaha ..NO.... The only reason i find americans boys joining is they want money or can't afford college...or wanna be a gay ..lol......a large percentage of american people hate to move outside US....if u don't believe me just check out MYspace and hit male....age- 18-34- Afghanitan or Iraq.....and check the mood and description about the US sloldiers...and they would use words like **** man ...asshole....bored......disgusting.....… this the profile of a US ARMY SOLDIER?? ISN'T HE HAPPY THERE FIGHTING FOR HIS COUNTRY....oh comeon he should know he is a US citizen by birth......he has some duties towards his country ....but the clear answer is they don't wanna leave their gf back in US and burger, beer, travel, adventure....and FUN LIFE for USA..
So my ques is if the US GOVT doesn't give any attractive offer to non-US citizens GC, or conditional GC holders...of citizenship....WHY WOULD THEY CARE TO JOIN THE US ARMY AND FIGHT FOR A COUNTRY IN WHICH THEY WERE NEVER BORN ?
It is simple rule.. u give something and get something...this is the world policy....just giving and not taking away anything is the ploicy of the Almighty....and theAMERICANS and the Army recruiters should know that no one in this world would give away their lives for USA, and be as dead bodies in iraq or afghanistan......if the perk of CITIZENSHIP is not offered to them ........think about the above said matter...though it requires brain to understand , but intelligent people will follow me .....i bet !! | In my 8 years in the Navy, I probably met more than 250 foreign nationals surving in our military, all of them serving for citizenship, from about a dozen different countries:
--Philippines
--Hong Kong
--Lebanon
--Kenya
--Mexico
--Ukraine
No one ever told me that it was difficult to get in, except for the fact that they have to score higher on the ASVAB and security clearance jobs are usually closed to them. | Good Fiction Book to Read? Here's qualities I like in my books usually:
Fantasy
A little romance
Drama
Adventure
Travel
Qualities I hate:
Obsessive romance
References of name I don't know
When it gets too techy (don't care for sci-fi)
I like books that are Fantasy and adventure. I like it when it's like omg he's a boy except he's got a magic power and has two friends who help him and it gets dramatic and interesting and suspenseful and OMG HE'S EVIL?!?! And omg HE DIED?!?! WAAAAHHH!!! (like Harry Potter or The Hunger Games)
I don't like it when it's all like: omg there's a guy who has a magic power and it's super gay and he has too Mary-Sues who help him and he's a spaz with no backstory, yadda yadda, omg he's evil ahhh I predicted that omg he died well yeah of course he did
So any books like that? Love Diana Wynne Jones. Prefer Young Adult Books. I don't want some story about a prissy teenage girl with no fantasy. I loved The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Bloody Jack, Life as We Knew it, etc | You would probably like The Inheritance Cycle. You probably have heard of the first book, Eragon.
When Eragon finds a polished blue stone in the forest, he thinks it is the lucky discovery of a poor farm boy; perhaps it will buy his family meat for the winter. But when the stone brings a dragon hatchling, Eragon realizes he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself. Overnight his simple life is shattered, and he is thrust into a perilous new world of destiny, magic, and power. With only an ancient sword and the advice of an old storyteller for guidance, Eragon and the fledgling dragon must navigate the dangerous terrain and dark enemies of an Empire ruled by a king whose evil knows no bounds. Can Eragon take up the mantle of the legendary Dragon Riders? The fate of the Empire may rest in his hands....
I put off reading it for a few years before I finally got around to reading it a few weeks ago. It was awesome. A book about a boy who finds a dragon and must save the empire doesn't sound very creative and interesting at first, but neither does a boy who discovers he is a wizard and must save the world- but look how amazing harry potter is.

And The Mortal Instruments series. The fist book is City of Bones.
When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder - much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing - not even a smear of blood - to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy? This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It's also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know....
This book has everything you're asking for.

Last, The Angel Experiment (Maximum Ride, #1). This series has 6 books, some of them are only okay, but most of them are awesome. Here's the first one:
In James Patterson's blockbuster series, fourteen-year-old Maximum Ride, better known as Max, knows what it's like to soar above the world. She and all the members of the "flock"--Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman and Angel--are just like ordinary guys--only they have wings and can fly. It may seem like a dream come true to some, but their lives can morph into a living nightmare at any time...like when Angel, the youngest member of the flock, is guynapped and taken back to the "School" where she and the others were experimented on by a crew of wack jobs. Her friends brave a journey to blazing hot Death Valley, CA, to save Angel, but soon enough, they find themselves in yet another nightmare--this one involving fighting off the half-human, half-wolf "Erasers" in New York City. Whether in the treetops of Central Park or in the bowels of the Manhattan subway system, Max and her adopted family take the ride of their lives. Along the way Max discovers from her old friend and father-figure Jeb--now her betrayed and greatest enemy--that her purpose is save the world--but can she?
Again, this book has everything you're asking for. The romance coming up in the later books.

ps I like your description of harry potter. | We need help with a website name!!? My boyfriend and I are leaving the country for a year to travel (mostly southeast asia). We plan on documenting our adventures on a website that we are designing via pictures, blogs, video, etc. The problem is, we can't agree on a domain name. Wanna help?
We are both young, urban, gay men with a SERIOUS adventure streak...love backpacking, traveling on a shoe string budget, etc. We are both the type who feel there is WAY too much to see in this world, so let's not wait...
So, what do you think? Something funny? Something that might capture the spirit of the adventure AND attract us some adsense dollars?

Thank you! | Well, the "gay" village is along bank street, but the nightlife is all in the Byward market. It's not a dangerous place during the day or at night, so you can go there at all hours!
To the north of the market you'll find the National Art Gallery which happens to also be a fine piece of architechture ; )
You might also want to rent a car and go up to Wakefield, QC (30km from downtown on the highway 5) which is a very artsy (but authentic) village which, from what you have said about yourself, I really think that you would enjoy. Might I personally recommend the Kaffé 1870 for lunch?
There is much to do in the region, but it's not always on the tourist guides!

Ouran High School Host Club(also an anime. but read the manga cuz the anime ends earlier):Haruhi Fujioka is a scholarship student at Ouran High School, a fictional school located in Bunkyō, Tokyo. Because of the superlative cost of the school uniform, Haruhi resorts to wearing long slacks, polo shirts and a vest. Combined with her large glasses and tousled short hair, Haruhi's look causes her to be confused for a boy.

If you dont want to hang out at DownTown, try Canadas Wonderland! Its this big Amusment park filled with big and fun rides....there is a place to swim (Splash works)...and to eat there...many people meet new friends there also! | Is this storyline ok?I'm trying to write a story.? Well im writing this story bout 2 girls that ran away and took a plane trip 2 (not sure which country yet).On the way they had 2 switch planes at Las Vegas where they met a boy who was a computer expert. He hacked into one of the girl's parents bank account and sent the the money in that account to the girl's accounts .He went with them 2(unknown country)where they had several adventures(not sure yet wat adventures). The boy turned out 2 be gay and one of the girls is homophobic and she refuses to travel with him.Over time she gets over his being gay and they start liking each other.
There was a tip that the girls and the guy where at (unknown country) so parents were already on there way to (unknown country). The end of their adventure was near and they got careless and they were caught by cops.Face to face with their parents it was revealed that one of the girls ranaway cuz she got bored with her life and wanted adventure and the other one thought her mom was gonna kill her.The boy ran away cuz wen he told his family that he was gay he felt he was shunned by them.It turns out that after he had left his brother admitted that he was gay and sister admitted she was a lesbian cuz they felt guilty bout shunning him and not owning up bout their sexuality.
Is it a good story. If it is surprise surprise cuz i will suck in actually writing the book. This storyline was not created to criticize homosexuals.(if anyone disapproves) | Sure, I guess it has potential.
I would suggest a country which is not so well known or is not that large though.
What I would think would make the story more interesting and nail biting is if the parents of either the girls or the boy had a high political status in their country. Not president or prime minister but maybe a member of parliament or something similar. So therefore these adventures or private family matters might hurt their image.
