When I make Chinese or Indian dishes using chicken breast, how do I prevent the chicken from becoming rubbery? Every time I try to make Indian curries or Chinese Stir Fry or Chinese dishes where the chicken is not fried, the chicken is always rubbery. I buy the chicken breast fresh, cut it into small 1 inch cubes, then freeze it to use as I need. What do I do to make the chicken in these curries or sauces not tough and rubbery, but soft and tender instead? |
Cut it only before you use it. If you buy it frozen, do not thaw it, and then re-freeze it.
When cooking, Chicken takes about 5 - 7 minutes on 2 sides at medium high heat, depending on thickness to be just-done. For Chinese dishes, always stir-fry the vegetables first, then set aside. Then do the chicken/sauce and the stir in the veggies.
If you are simmering, only add the chicken when there is about 25 minutes or so left of cooking time. |

275 g plain yogurt,
3 tbsp tikka masala curry paste
Add all your turkey meat
1 tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil
1 large green chillies, seeds removed and chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
200 g can chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp lemon juice
100 ml coconut milk
2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
For the tikka masala: place 200g set yogurt into a medium bowl and stir in 2 tbsp tikka masala paste until blended, add the cut turkey and coat well with the spiced yogurt, cover and place in the refrigerator for 2 – 3 hrs.
3. Heat the oil in a saucepan; add the chilli, chopped onion, crushed garlic and onion seeds, gently fry for 5 minutes.
4. Add the remaining tikka masala paste and fry for 30 seconds then add the chopped tomatoes, lemon juice and coconut milk. Gently bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes until all the ingredients are blended together, stir occasionally.
5. Meanwhile, divide the turkey between 4 oiled skewers, add any of the residue spiced yogurt to the sauce while it is simmering. Cook the chicken under a preheated hot grill for 10 – 15 minutes, turning frequently until cooked through.
6. Remove the turkey from the skewers and add to the sauce along with the remaining yogurt and fresh coriander, heat through for a couple of minutes and serve with rice, raita dip and chapattis. |

Why do Indian women seek treatment of breast cancer at such late stage? Breast cancer is curable in early stages of disease. Once advanced- this opportunity if lost. However, majority of women treated for breast cancer in India come to hospitals for treatment of their breast cancer, only when the disease has advanced. WHY??
Indian surgeons and oncologists have the capability to cure breast cancer, even without sacrificing the breast for that- as par with best hospitals and doctors in the world. However, with this kind of late stage presentation, the doctors feel frustated, and patients do not have as good chance of cure |
The late breast cancer detection is true for most developing and third world countries. It is the lack of cancer screening program. Mammogram, MRI and ultrasound are used to detect early and small cancer before the patients develop symptoms such as mass, pain, skin changes, nipple discharge or metastatic involvement in the brain, lung and etc.
So they need the machine and technologists to do the test and Radiologists to read the images.
Equally importance is the awareness of the seriousness of breast cancer. Women (as well as men) should know the importance of early detection. So they can do breast self examination correctly as well as utilizing the available tests.
The campaign for breast cancer awareness is a good idea to get the message across.
Good luck. |

What Next? The Indian Girls in past used to have a cloth named chuni. It was used to cover breast&face&hairs etc Friends, As stated above this cloth has nearly obsolate now.Do think that this is a sign of devolopment of soecity.& what next? |
It sounds very similar to the muslim hijab. It's worn for modesty.
What's next? Probably low cut revealing tops and skin tight pants & shorts, and short skirts & dresses. "The West" has influenced dress codes for most cultures, and sadly, India is following in their footsteps. |
I am indian women 33years old at present in USA my beast is heavy&from last 2 days my left breast pains onbor? days my left breast pains when i pressmy nipple thepain is on bone& it feels like my breast is filled with milk although my guys are 11&5years old? |
Hi,
I am single guy from India. I hope you won't mind a guy answering your question.
I think you should visit to your doctor. Don't take it lightly. If you have severe breast pain and you feel them heavy. It could be severe. Please don't waste time getting random and guess answers and visit your gyno now and get tension free.
I wish it will be normal and due to heavy work or stress and not a disease like breast cancer. You can check yourself whether your breasts are fine and for that search on google how to check breast cancer at home.
thanks
